Celebrating Year One and Welcoming Some New Faces!
Our inaugural school year is down to its final days and we're counting the blessings of an incredible academic year. Our students will cap off a season of exciting events with a concert this Sunday. We've hired some phenomenal new teachers for next year. More to follow, but first...

G.K. Chesterton Quote of the Month:
“The way to love anything is to realize that it may be lost.”

See Who's Joining Us in New or Expanded Roles!
Fr. Daniel Hesko, our CASJE Chaplain, will teach Theology and Medieval History.

Mr. Daniel Kirkland will become a full-time member of the faculty, not only teaching Music, but also Algebra and Physics.

Miss Paula Rondon will teach Latin I, II, and III.
Miss Sophie Anderson will teach Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus, and coach our cross-country running team.
Please join us in welcoming them to CASJE! Read their bios here.

Upcoming Events

This Sunday! June 1 at 6 pm: Spring Choral Concert at Holy Comforter. Don't miss this unique experience of sacred music! The Chesterton Academy students, in collaboration with Holy Comforter music ministry, will perform songs and chants centered around the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary. Refreshments and tours will follow at CASJE. Join us!

June 23-27: Poetry Camp for Rising 9th-12th Graders
Do you love poetry? Or do you feel like you just don't "get" poetry? Either way, this camp is for you. The lucky students who join this camp will get a crash course in reading, writing, and most of all enjoying great poetry. Join Mr. Isak Bond to learn the tools and techniques of the best poets over the ages, from centuries ago to present day, and to keep a poet's notebook where you write imitations and original works of your own. By the end of the week, you will know how to see what great poems are really doing, speak about them with confidence, and make your own poems. The course will conclude with an “open mic” poetic celebration of words featuring camp members’ own original writing. Register now.

Save the date! Nov.15: The Chesterton Gala,
an incredible and inspiring evening at the Omni Charlottesville. Details coming, but in the meantime, check out last year's Gala!

Recent Happenings: Student Life
CASJE students are finishing the year with some fun activities to complement the rigorous academics! They ventured to Staunton for a field day and House competition, which included bowling and a scavenger hunt. They also enjoyed honing their Ultimate Frisbee skills with our Spring practice team, and participating in a singing demonstration at the St. Andre Bessette Schola.
Finally, a beautiful and moving May Crowning was held at CASJE, with sacred music led by Daniel Kirkland.

Onward and Upward: Preparing for Year Two!

We are so grateful to each person who has partnered with us through prayer, time, talent, or financial resources. You have impacted lives. Thanks to you, CASJE will complete its first academic year on June 6th! We could not have done it without YOU. Many of you attended the 2024 Gala and responded generously with pledges and donations, getting us half way to our 2025-2026 operating budget--thank you! We're working hard to raise the remaining amount to continue to offer this life-changing education, but we could use a boost! If you like our mission and want to see it continue, would you consider making a "Congrats on your first year" gift using the button below? Your tax-deductible contribution goes toward faculty salaries, operating costs, and student financial aid.

YES, I want this school to thrive!

Thank you for journeying with us through our inaugural year. We can't wait to see what God has in store for this high school with a higher purpose!
